Terms of use

These terms apply between you and P6s, a registered sole proprietorship of which Param Suthar is the proprietor, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, when you use the Glycoz app, the Glycoz for Clinicians panel, or this website. Creating an account in the app asks you to tick that you have read and agree to these terms and the privacy policy, and we record the version you agreed to and when. An account created before that tick existed is asked in the app. If you do not accept them, do not use Glycoz.

They should be read alongside the medical disclaimer and the privacy policy, both of which form part of this agreement. Where the medical disclaimer conflicts with anything here, the medical disclaimer prevails.

• You must be 18 or over to hold your own Glycoz account.
• A person under 18 may use Glycoz only with the consent of a parent or lawful guardian, and a parent or guardian may keep records on behalf of a child in their care.
• A clinician account requires a valid professional registration, which we verify by hand before granting access.
• You must be capable of entering into a binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

An account is required on first use. It is what lets your records be backed up and restored, and it is what makes a clinician connection possible.

• Give accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your credentials to yourself. We cannot recover a password — it is stored as a hash we cannot reverse — so a reset is the only route.
• Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
• One account per person. Do not share an account with someone else: their records would become indistinguishable from yours, and a clinician reading it would have no way to tell.

Glycoz Premium is a plan for patients covering the assistant, meal estimates, PDF reports longer than 15 days and how long a period Analytics draws at once — up to 15 days without it, up to a year with it. You ask for it in the app, and the Glycoz team agrees it with you and turns it on; there is no payment step in Glycoz. Premium never limits recording, the records themselves, a module’s own history, the CSV export of any period, sharing, your doctors or the emergency button.

• The accuracy of what you record. Glycoz refuses a value no body could produce as you type it, but it cannot tell a mistyped reading that is still possible from a real one, or notice a dose logged at the wrong time, and everything it shows you is built on what you entered.
• Deciding what to share, and with whom. Sharing starts on for every category when you connect a clinician, which the app tells you before you connect; a category added after that starts off for clinicians you were already connected to, so switching it on for them is yours to do.
• Keeping your own copy of anything you would be unwilling to lose. You can export your records from within the app at any time, and ask for a copy of everything held about you from Settings, neither of which needs our involvement.
• Your own health decisions, which should be made with the doctor treating you and not on the basis of anything in Glycoz.

You agree not to:

• Enter another person's health information without their knowledge and consent, or hold records about someone you do not have the authority to hold them for.
• Attempt to access an account, a patient record or any data that is not yours, including by probing for records you are not connected to.
• Interfere with the service, run automated scanning that degrades it for other users, or attempt to circumvent the sharing, access-control or audit-logging mechanisms.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or extract the software except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.
• Use Glycoz to provide a clinical service you are not qualified or registered to provide.
• Use Glycoz for any purpose that is unlawful, or in a way that infringes the rights of anyone else.

Glycoz is a record-keeping and communication tool. It is not intended to be used as a medical device, and has not been assessed as one; it is not a telemedicine service, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The full statement is in the medical disclaimer, and these terms are subject to it.

Connecting a clinician does not create a doctor-patient relationship, does not mean anybody is monitoring your readings, and does not oblige any clinician to look at your record. Glycoz does not alert anyone when something in your record changes.

Where Glycoz offers a feature that uses automated or artificial-intelligence techniques, you accept the following as a condition of using it.

• Output is generated from records you entered and may be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading, including about numbers and dates.
• It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, a dosage recommendation, a triage decision or a clinical opinion, and it must not be relied on as any of those.
• You will not use it to decide whether a situation is urgent, and you will not use it in place of contacting a clinician or emergency services.
• A clinician will not use any AI-generated text as a basis for a diagnosis, a prescription or any other clinical judgement.
• The feature is optional and can be switched off, leaving the rest of the app unaffected.
• The assistant and meal estimates are part of Glycoz Premium. Without it, an account has a set number of free tries of each, once; after they are used, the assistant takes no new questions and a meal photograph gets no estimate. Past answers and estimates stay readable.

We give no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for any purpose of AI-generated output, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no liability for a decision taken on the basis of it.

If you hold a clinician account, you additionally agree that:

• You hold a valid professional registration and will tell us promptly if that changes.
• You are responsible for your own compliance with the rules of your regulator, including the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 where they apply to how you use patient data.
• Data in the panel is patient-reported, unverified and possibly incomplete, and you will not treat it as a clinical measurement or as a complete record.
• You will not use the panel as your sole basis for a clinical decision, and you will not treat charts, adherence figures or attention flags as clinical findings.
• A prescription entry you write is a communication record between you and your patient. Whether it constitutes a valid prescription is a matter for you and the law that applies to you; we do not verify or countersign it.
• You will access a patient record only for the purpose of that patient's care, knowing that every record you open is written to a log before it is read.
• You will keep your session credentials secure and will not let anyone else use your account.

Your records are yours. We claim no ownership of them and we do not use them for advertising, profiling, or training any general-purpose model. We process them only as set out in the privacy policy.

You grant us the limited permission necessary to store, transmit, back up and display your records so that the service can work — for example to sync them between your devices, and to show them to a clinician you have connected. That permission ends when your account is erased, except for the copies and records the Delete my data page says are kept, for as long as it says.

Glycoz is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It is an early-stage product: features change, modules may be added, altered or withdrawn, and there may be interruptions, defects and periods of unavailability.

The app is designed to keep working without a connection, but you should not depend on Glycoz — or on any single system — as the only copy of information you would need in an emergency, or as the only thing preventing a missed dose.

We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or on this page before they take effect, and the version and date at the top of this page always reflect the current text. When the version changes, the app asks you to read the new terms and agree to them, and records the version and when you agreed. If you choose Not now, you keep your records and the app asks again the next time it reaches our server.

The Glycoz name, logo, software, interface and website content belong to us or to our licensors. Using Glycoz does not transfer any of those rights to you. You may not copy the branding, or present Glycoz — or anything derived from it — as your own product or as endorsed by us.

You can stop using Glycoz at any time and delete your account from within the app or from the web.

We may suspend or end access where an account is being used in breach of these terms, where it is necessary to protect other users or the service, or where a clinician’s registration is no longer valid. Where we can give notice first, we will; where a delay would cause harm, we may act first and explain afterwards. Ending a clinician account ends their access to every patient record connected to it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from:

• A health decision taken on the basis of anything shown in Glycoz, including any AI-generated output, an estimated figure, or a range label.
• A reminder that did not fire, including where the device, its operating system or its battery-management settings prevented it.
• Records lost because a device was lost, damaged or reset, or could no longer open the app's encrypted database, before its data had synchronised.
• Anything that happens to a report or export after it has left Glycoz.
• The acts or omissions of a clinician you have chosen to connect, or of any other user.
• Interruption or unavailability of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for Glycoz in the twelve months preceding the claim. For a patient who has paid nothing, that amount may be nil.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction, save that nothing here removes any right you have to bring a complaint before a consumer forum or a regulator with jurisdiction over you.
